Γεια σας! My name is Despina, and I'm a Greek language teacher based in Kastoria, Greece. I studied history and archaeology and am currently pursuing a master's degree in Byzantine archaeology. My focus extends to the evolution of the Greek language through epigraphy and manuscripts. Since completing my bachelor's degree, I have been teaching both ancient and modern Greek to Greek students. However, my passion for exploring and engaging with diverse cultures, languages, and traditions has led me to expand my efforts to teach Greek to foreigners. Interacting with the Greek language allows others to discover the beauty of both the language and the rich culture it embodies, a philosophy reflected in my teaching approach. Beyond academics, I find joy in expressing creativity through drawing and various art forms. I look forward to inspiring a love for the Greek language and culture in my students!
